Hatton painting unveiled! PDF Print E-mail

Slone rendered English boxing superstar Ricky Hatton in a painting to honor Hatton’s first Las Vegas fight, which took place on Saturday, January 20th, at the Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.



“Hatton is one of the most exciting fighters in the world” said Slone, “He is a throwback, a real warrior – he fights hard and is a credit to the sport.”

The 16 x 20 inch “Hatton” acrylic and enamel painting captures Ricky Hatton at his professional and personal best, Slone’s placement of color and shapes make a loud statement, Hatton is ready to attack, focused and dangerous, living up to his ‘Hitman’ nickname.

Richard T. Slone has been hailed as the next great artist. His work is widely collected by art collectors and high-society. Owners of his originals include Donald Trump, Nelson Mandela, Hugh Hefner and Muhammad Ali. He is the official artist of the International Boxing Hall of Fame and at only 32 years of age is one of the most accomplished emerging artist’s in the world.

In 2006 Slone inked a deal with the The Ultimate Fighting Championship® brand and became their officially licensed artist. He also recently signed a ten-year deal with the National Geographic company, which will publish some of Slone’s work.
