Ricky Hatton and Jose Luis Castillo were on hand yesterday at the 235 Casino in Manchester, England when the date and location for this greatly anticipated showdown was officially announced. Hatton will defend his IBO light welterweight title against Jose Luis Castillo at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas on June 23 June.
Both fighters predicted victory and Hatton admitted that Castillo would be his toughest challenge so far in a 42 bout career. "The Hitman" will commence a three and a half month training regimen that will end with three weeks in Las Vegas. (Photo: Paul Speak)
