[Contact Sue] ABOUT SUE KALLING Director of Operations, Sue Kalling, has been with Banner for eighteen years. She has always carried a love for all sports and majored in physical education in college at U.N.L.V. Boxing became a special love because of the many hours she spent watching the Friday Night fights with her grandfather and she has now been involved in the sport for twenty-nine years. She caught the eye of the university through the many sports in which she participated. After graduation they offered her a job working the sports events arranging passes and selling tickets. Fortunately, Sue's husband was a boxing fan so they had something in common. She was working as a telephone operator at the time, a job she hated, and was determined to return to sports. She jumped at a job opportunity with Caesars Palace and during her five years there she worked many great fights including Holmes/Coony and Leonard/Hagglar. She then moved to the Hilton before a friend referred her to Banner where has been for eighteen years. "Artie treats everyone with decency and respect," she says and she is happy to stay with him. With Josh she arranges rooming lists, airline tickets, transportation in town, and meals. She is also onsite coordinator. |
