WBO lightweight champion Acelino Freitas, who announced his retirement early October 2006, may come back to fight WBC lightweight champion Joel Casamayor in Brazil.
According to A Folha de S.Paulo, the bout will be a unification clash. Freitas had until Monday to make a final decision as to whether or not he wanted to give up the WBO belt. The president of the WBO, Francisco Valcarcel, has confirmed the fight.
